Ultra-thin
Warwick Audio’s loudspeaker technology uses a combination of ultra-thin materials resulting in a thickness of less than 1mm, making it possible to incorporate speaker panels in the tightest of areas.
Ultra-light
With the absence of magnets, as used in traditional loudspeakers, and by using ultra-thin materials, Warwick speaker panels are extremely light. As an example, a speaker panel of 210mm x 297mm weighs less than120 grams.
Low Power
Warwick Audio loudspeaker panels are voltage driven anddraw very little power. Unlike the power-hungry alternatives very little electrical current is wasted as heat. Combined with our class D amplifier, they utilise 10% of the power required traditionally, making them very eco-friendly and ideal for battery powered applications.
Directional
The loudspeaker panels are directional – transmitting sound into the areas where it needs to be heard and not where it doesn’t. This makes the technology ideal for applications where overspill of sound is undesirable such as classrooms, conference rooms or even rural railway stations. There’s now no reason to annoy the neighbours.
Flexible Sound
Warwick Audio loudspeakers can be produced in a flexible format which has a double benefit.
Firstly, the field of sound can be determined by flexing the laminate. Hence a concave shape will direct sound to an even narrower field, whereas a convex shape will broaden the sound field. They can even be made into a cylindrical shape giving sound in all directions.
And secondly, this flexibility also enables the speaker panels to be moulded, or formed, into different shapes to enable installation in awkward places.
Indeed, speaker panels can be designed to virtually any customised shape or size.
Water Resistant
Speaker panels can be treated to make them water resistant and therefore suitable for applications in damp or humid environments
Ease of Manufacturing
The laminate construction of the Warwick loudspeaker panels is suited to large scale manufacturing processes with the resulting economies of scale whilst maintaining the integrity and quality of the speakers.
Eco Friendly
All components of the Warwick loudspeaker panels are fully recyclable.
