Warwick Audio is a UK-based technology company specialising in the development of High Precision Electrostatic Laminate audio transducers (HPELs) for Original Equipment Manufacturers. The technology is applicable to audio applications in multiple fields and is designed for customers developing and manufacturing audio products for public or personal listening. Our patented technology enables our customers to create outstanding products, offering HiResolution audio reproduction whilst facilitating innovative design.


The HPEL concept was initially developed by Dr. Duncan Billson and Prof. David Hutchins at the University of Warwick, School of Engineering. Warwick Audio Technologies was subsequently spun-out from the University, funded by a range of Venture Capital firms including Mercia Technologies Ltd and Finance Wales.


The Warwick Audio headquarters is located in Henley-in-Arden and the company also has a specialist technical engineering and development operation in Ebbw Vale, South Wales.


The company works closely with original equipment manufacturers in various fields to assist them in developing exciting new audio solutions.
