Warwick Audio is a UK-based technology company specialising in the development of flat and flexible loudspeaker (FFL) solutions for Original Equipment Manufacturers. The technology is applicable to audio applications in multiple fields and is designed for customers developing and manufacturing audio products for public or personal listening. Our technology enables our customers to create products that go way beyond perceived limitations, and our patented technology offers a reliable audio platform whilst facilitating innovative design.

The technology was developed by Dr. Duncan Billson and Prof. David Hutchins following successful research at the University of Warwick, School of Engineering. Warwick Audio Technologies was a spin-out company from the University and was first founded in 2001. Progressive research and development of the technology continued over several years until 2008, when the company was commercialised following funding from the Mercia Fund, Porton Capital and Finance Wales.

The Warwick Audio headquarters is still located in Coventry in close proximity to the University of Warwick, where research on the technology continues. The company also has a specialist technical engineering and development operation in South Wales.

The company works closely with original equipment manufacturers in various fields to assist them in developing exciting new audio solutions.
